History:
Fioranello Golf Club located in the classic Roman countryside was founded in 1979 in an area that was once owned by the Prince Boncompagni Ludovisi, at the border of the archaeological site of Appia Antica. The club started out as a 9 hole course. In 1984 an enlargement of the Club House had become necessary due to the increasing number of new members. Soon after, a project started for the accomplishment of the definitive 18 hole course. In 1990 Fioranello Golf Club celebrated the opening of its new 18 holes course. Today there is, no doubt, one of the most suggestive and challenging golf courses in Rome.
