6 nations rugby in Italy in 2013 has scheduled three home fixtures for the Italian Rugby Team. On 3rd February 2013 Italy face local rivals France, then the 23rd February sees Italy take on Wales, followed on 16th March when Ireland visit Rome. The 2012 and 2013 fixtures bring a little extra excitement for rugby fans as the Federazione Italiana Rugby have decided that rugby in Italy will be held at the different venue, the Stadio Olimpico. The Stadio Olimpico is the home of Roma and Lazio football teams and many other sporting events. This new venue is much bigger than the previous venue, Stadio Flaminio, and has a capacity in excess of 70,000.
