About MonzaMonza is located approximately 15 km north east of Milan, on the river Lambro (a tributary of the River Po). The city is best known for its Grand Prix motor racing circuit, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza (home of the Tifosi, supporters of Italian team Scuderia Ferrari). The city hosts a Department of the University of Milan Bicocca, a Court of Justice and several offices of regional administration. Monza Park is one of the largest urban parks in Europe. Other sights of Monza include the Romanesque-Gothic Duomo of Saint John, Church of Santa Maria in Strada, the Broletto Palace, Church of San Pietro Martire, Cappella Espiatoria (a memorial to King Umberto I), Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, Oratory of St. Gregory and the Church of Santa Maria al Carrobiolo. Monza also has many beautiful Villas (Reale, Mirabello, Mirabellino, Durini, Crivelli Mesmer, Prata etc) and three main theatres (Teatro Manzoni, Teatro Villoresi and Teatro Binario).
