A breath-taking tour of the Ligurian coast to see the beautiful fishing villages of Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre is a rugged strip of the Liguria coastline made up of five fishing villages; Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cinque Terre is characterised by its beautiful landscape. Mediterranean herbs and trees grow spontaneously from the top of the hills down to the water level. These villages offer immense beauty and many romantic areas to discover. Setting off from Florence in the morning we arrive at La Spezia and board a local train that will take us to the first village "Vernazza", where we will admire the intricate layout of this village with its "carruggi" (narrow lanes) and steep stairways. We will proceed to Monterosso, an ancient fishing village considered " the pearl of the Cinque Terre", where you will be overcome by enchanting beaches and luxuriant vegetation that surrounds the little village. Here you will have free time to plunge into the crystal sea and eat a typical Ligurian lunch (not included). A local train will then bring us to Manarola, from where, walking along the famous "Via dell'Amore" (Walkway of Love) we'll arrive in Riomaggiore, and end the tour in La Spezia. In addition to comfortable clothes, we recommend to bring with you swimwear and hat to protect against the sun.
