A splendid excursion through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside up to the historic university city of Pisa, famous for its architectural beauty. The tour includes a morning visit of the fascinating Piazza dei Miracoli. Upon arrival in Pisa, you will enjoy a guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli, with the celebrated Leaning Tower of Pisa (exterior), the Baptistery (exterior) and other beautiful monuments. This is followed by a visit of the interior of the Cathedral. You will also have free time at your disposal. After lunch and a coach ride your day will continue in one of most famous and enchant parts of Tuscany, the Chianti area. The Chianti area in Tuscany is renowned as the most beautiful countryside in the world. Famous for wines it enchants every visitor with the beauty of its mediaeval hill-towns, castles, stone farmhouses and breath-taking landscapes. In this part of the tour we discover two of the most suggestive villages Greve in Chianti and Monteriggioni, known worldwide for its wine and its countryside of unrivalled charm, where woods alternate with vineyards and olive groves, in a landscape dotted with Romanesque churches, farmhouses, villas and castles of rare beauty. Between these two splendid villages we'll also stopped in a renowned farm house for a wine tasting accompanied with a snack of local products.
