About Florence Uffizi and Accademia tour

Entrance and guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery
Every day (except Monday) - Approx: 6.5 hours

The famous Uffizi Gallery of Florence dates back to the 16th century. It is now home to some of the most renowned art of the Renaissance era and is the exquisite art collection of the Medici family, a wealthy benefactor of Florentine arts. The museum hosts many famous works of art, including Da Vinci's The Annunciation and The Adoration of the Magi, Michelangelo's The Doni Tondo, Raphael's Madonna of the Goldfinch, Giotto's The Ognissanti Madonna and much more. The Accademia di Belle Arti ("Academy of Fine Arts") is an art academy in Florence, Italy and it is now the operative branch of the still existing Accademia delle Arti del Disegno ("Academy of the Arts of Drawing") that was the first academy of drawing in Europe. The Gallery of the Accademia di Belle Arti has housed the original David by Michelangelo since 1873 and is also home for many other marvellous pieces of art. Our expert guide will lead you around both the museums for an in depth look at the many masterpieces and the history behind them.
