Venice Ristorante La Zucca

La Zucca is the restaurant for you if you are looking for fresh food made with natural ingredients. The restaurant is small, with 35 seats inside and 12 outside (only available in summer time). It is located very close to Piazza San Giacomo, near a picturesque bridge. Inside the atmosphere is welcoming and modern, with oak coating on the walls and a little open kitchen, so the customers can view the chef at work. A nice feature of the restaurant is the door that opens up on the canal that allows customers to come inside directly from a boat. Vegetables are a specialty of the restaurant, and season's best are used to make cakes, first courses and soups. Specialties include: pumpkin flan, potatoes cake, vegetarian course with rice or couscous. You will also find many meat courses, such as rabbit with white wine or the lamb with spices, and many homemade cakes like pear cake with ginger or the spices tart with red wine and raspberry.
