About Verona city break

Verona is a popular tourist destination due to its artistic heritage, several annual fairs and operas (such as the lyrical season in the Arena, the ancient amphitheatre built by the Romans). Because of the value and importance of its many historical buildings, Verona has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is also the setting for Shakespeare's famous play, of two young "star-cross'd lovers", Romeo and Juliet. Tourists can visit Juliet's House (Casa di Giulietta), on Via Cappello, just off the Piazza delle Erbe.
