Discover the most fascinating landscape in the world with a luxurious Positano & Amalfi Coast boat tour

The Amalfi Coast is part of Campania’s coastline, located south of the Sorrentine Peninsula and overlooking the Gulf of Salerno. It stretches from Positano on the west of the coast to Vietri sul Mare on the east, and is famous around the world for its natural beauty and luxury holiday resorts that are popular with celebrities and the elite.

This boat tour of Positano and the Amalfi Coast is the perfect romantic treat on a Sorrento holiday. It begins with a hotel pick-up, taking you to the port of Piano di Sorrento, where the boat tour departs. First, you will sail along the Sorrento coast in the direction of Amalfi, giving you the opportunity to take in some of the most stunning landscape in South Italy, including the ancient fishing villages that define this stretch of coastline, as well as the Bagni della Regina Giovanna Roman ruins, natural waterfalls and the idyllic Ieranto Bay.

As the Amalfi Coast boat tour continues, you will be treated to beautiful scenery in complete tranquillity, such as the famous Li Galli islands, Nerano, Praiano, Fiordo di Furore and the stunning Emerald Grotto (note that entry isn't included, but can be arranged). There will also be plenty of stops for swimming and snorkelling, making this Amalfi boat tour an excellent choice for families. Once in Amalfi, you will have free time (approx. 30 minutes) to see the pretty coastal sights, before the boat tour continues to Positano, where you will also have free time to explore.

After your day discovering the Amalfi Coast by boat, you will be able to recline in peace as the boat cruises back to Sorrento, with the option of limoncello tasting as a special treat.

About the Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast takes its name from the town of Amalfi, the heart of the coast not only geographically but also historically. However, there are many other famous towns here and the Amalfi Coast is particularly known for its diversity. Each town on the coast has its own charm and traditions, and we highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about the traditions of South Italy.

Not quite what you're looking for? We can also arrange a VIP day trip to the Amalfi Coast, with a personal driver in a private car for a luxury experience. Stops can be arranged in any of the villages along the coast that you would like to see and we can even arrange an overnight stay in one of the pretty villages.
