Tour Itinerary

The tour begins in Piazza del Popolo, which traditionally marks the northern "door to Rome". Here, you'll see the Santa Maria del Popolo church before soaking up the lively atmosphere of the Spanish Steps and the magic of the Trevi Fountain. The tour then continues with a stop at Piazza Colonna, which contains a magnificent column erected by Marcus Aurelius and is considered by Romans to be the central heart of the city.

Next is a stop at the Pantheon and, if you step inside, here you'll see the open oculus in the domed ceiling - a famous sight that we recommend taking a moment to enjoy. Piazza Navona is nearby the Pantheon and here you'll find Bernini's famous "Fountain of the Four Rivers". And then finally, as the tour draws to a close, you will stop at Campo de' Fiori, which is one of the most famous traditional Roman piazzas.

This truly is a wonderful tour if you have not visited Rome before or simply want to learn a little more about the city, its architecture and its vibrant past. If you would like to book this tour or you would like us to arrange any customised tour for you, please call one of our dedicated team on (UK) 01223 637331 or (US) 347-594-5500, or Click here to send us an enquiry.
