A full day excursion from Rome to the medieval village of Mazzano, where you can learn all the secrets of Roman cooking

This half-day activity starts with a car journey to the ancient village of Mazzano Romano, where you will make your way to a lavish garden and farm brimming with fresh vegetables, herbs and flowers. Here, you will pick all of the ingredients necessary to create the menu you'll be preparing in a cooking lesson, ensuring the freshest possible flavours.

After gathering everything you need and learning about the flavours of Lazio cooking you will meet the professional chef who will be leading the class. During the class, the chef will show you step-by-step how to prepare each menu item using methods that you will surely be able to duplicate once you return home.

As a part of the class, you will prepare an appetizer, first course, second course and dessert, and the chef will teach you the preparation techniques needed for a delightful, traditional Italian meal. You will then be able to relax and enjoy nature as you tuck in to your delicious meal.
