St Moritz is a resort town in the Engadine valley in Switzerland. It is a municipality in the district of Maloja in the Swiss canton of Graubünden and is close to the highest summit in the Eastern Alps, the Piz Bernina, which lies a few kilometres south of the town. St Moritz, due to its favourable location, enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year and every winter this alpine village hosts the "White Turf" horse race on the frozen St Moritz Lake. The main sights of St Moritz, which you can discover as a part of this day tour from Milan, include the notable vistas of the glacier landscape, the Piz Corvatsch with its ice cave and its 8 km ski slope down to St Moritz-Bad and the Segantini Museum, which is dedicated to the famous painter Giovanni Segantini, who lived in Engadine.

This tour from Milan is an excellent choice if you want to discover diverse landscapes and unbelievable winter scenes during your holiday in Italy. It can be added to any of our custom-made Milan holidays - please speak to your personal travel adviser, who will be happy to assist you.
