Immerse yourself in the history of Urbino with this half-day tour

Urbino is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the capital city of the Renaissance. Its history is tied to the Montefeltro family that came into possession of the territory in around 1200, the most famous member of which was Federico, Lord of Urbino from 1444 to 1482. He was a very successful military leader, a skillful diplomat and an enthusiastic patron of the arts, and commissioned the magnificient Palace, which is a notable wonder of early Renaissance architecture and just one of the attractions that can be enjoyed on this Urbino walking tour.
