Weddings at Castle Mago

If you are looking for a truly unique Tuscan castle then you can’t go far wrong with Castle Mago in the Etruscan Riviera (between Siena and Lucca). This stunning ivy-coated 16th century castle was the former residence of the Grand Duke of Tuscany and is decorated with rare art, antiques, marble floors and frescoes; it also has authentic hidden doorway and high ceilings, as well as beautiful grounds…oh and a ghost! While maintaining the grandeur you would expect from a Tuscan castle, Mago is also equipped with modern amenities, including wifi, satellite TV and an ice machine, and the 13 rooms all have mini-bars. What’s more, the master suite has a fireplace and grand piano! The castle has both air-conditioning and heating, making it the perfect choice throughout the year.

The castle grounds are particularly pretty and you will be impressed from the outset by the secluded drive lined with cypress and pine trees, which make a spectacular backdrop for wedding photos. There are also manicured gardens, an olive grove, a romantic rose garden, a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, and a large terrace. For your convenience, there is a chapel on site.
